Tapestry

Honestly I could never imagine that I would get to see the tapestry print anywhere else except for my grandma's old pillows. But if there's one thing you've got to know about fashion, that is 'never say never'. There are a million things that might seem out of date or even ridiculous today, and tomorrow they'll be like the hugest trend all around. The Dolce&Gabbana fall 2012 collection was full of embroidery and tapestry prints, and I've got to admit their approach had be totally hooked on these. They state romance and opulence in the most beautiful way, and the modern version of them matched with black color and golden jewelry looks impressive and absolutely feminine. So this is exactly how I wore my tapestry coat from Oasap : total black look, golden jewelry and finally red lipstick. Grandma approved :D

Ειλικρινά δεν θα μπορούσα να φανταστώ ότι θα έβλεπα ποτέ ταπισερί κάπου αλλού εκτός απ'τα μαξιλάρια της γιαγιάς μου. Αλλά αν υπάρχει ένα πράγμα που πρέπει να ξέρεις για την μόδα, αυτό είναι 'ποτέ μην λες ποτέ'. Υπάρχουν χιλιάδες πράγματα που μπορεί να δείχνουν ξεπερασμένα ή και γελοία σήμερα, και αύριο θα είναι η μεγαλύτερη τάση παντού. Η συλλογή των Dolce&Gabbana φθινόπωρο 2012 ήταν γεμάτη κεντημένα και ταπισερί υφάσματα, και πρέπει να παραδεχτώ ότι η προσέγγισή τους με έκανε να τα δω με τελείως διαφορετικό τρόπο. Δηλώνουν ρομαντισμό και έναν παλιού τύπου πλούτο με τον πιο όμορφο τρόπο, και η σύχρονη εκδοχή τους συνδυασμένα με μαύρο χρώμα και χρυσά κοσμήματα δείχνει εντυπωσιακή και απόλυτα θηλυκή. Έτσι ακριβώς λοιπόν φόρεσα το ταπισερί παλτό μου απ'το Oasap : από πάνω ως κάτω μαύρο look, χρυσά κοσμήματα και τέλος κόκκινο κραγιόν. Η γιαγιά μου θα το λάτρευε :D
