A little bit of everything

My mood of the moment is definitely all about mix&match : I love how different prints, colors and styles come together in a harmonic yet eye-catching and original result. And I really love how a mix&match outfit looks so effortless and a bit of 'oh I just put on the first things that came to my mind but I can't help it, I'm just so stylish!' (self praise optional, though this is our goal after all isn't it?). Of course this is not the case at all, a mix&match look usually needs even more time to put together than one with a specific style orientation because it's so easy to even make weird combos or take it too far.
For me a nice mix&match look should consist of both casual and more 'formal' elements, maybe a hint of print or masculine inspiration as well, and definitely be finished with feminine details and accessories. And that's what today's look is all about, a little bit of all the above : a masculine suit combo of black pants and white blazer, casual tee inside, leopard lace-ups for a little print touch and finally statement jewelry for a feminine result. And that's it! And now I can pretend that this is the first thing that came to my mind when dressing up ;) 


Η διάθεσή μου αυτή την περίοδο είναι σίγουρα απόλυτα mix&match : λατρεύω το πως διαφορετικά prints, χρώματα και στυλ ενώνονται σε ένα αρμόνικο αλλά παράλληλα εντυπωσιακό και ιδιαίτερο αποτέλεσμα. Και αγαπώ το πως ένα mix&match outfit δείχνει τόσο ανεπιτήδευτο και λίγο σαν 'α καλέ απλά έβαλα ότι βρήκα μπροστά μου αλλά τι να κάνω, έχω τόσο στυλ!' (ο αυτοέπαινος προαιρετικός, αλλά όπως και να το κάνουμε αυτός δεν είναι ο στόχος μας;). Φυσικά η αλήθεια απέχει κατά πολύ, ένα mix&match look συνήθως χρειάζεται περισσότερο χρόνο για να συνδυαστεί από ένα με συγκεκριμένο στυλ γιατί είναι πολύ εύκολο είτε να κάνεις περίεργους συνδυασμούς είτε να το παρατραβήξεις.
Για' μένα ένα ωραίο mix&match look πρέπει να αποτελείται τόσο από casual όσο και από πιο 'επίσημα στοιχεία', ίσως μια μικρή δόση από print ή ανδρόγυνο στυλ, και σίγουρα να ολοκληρώνεται από θηλυκές λεπτομέρειες και αξεσουάρ. Και αυτό είναι το σημερινό look, λίγο από όλα τα παραπάνω : ένα ανδρικού τύπου κοστούμι με μαύρο παντελόνι και άσπρο σακάκι, casual μπλουζάκι μέσα, λεοπάρ παπούτσια για μια μικρή πινελιά print και τέλος εντυπωσιακά κοσμήματα για ένα θηλυκό τελείωμα. Και αυτό είναι! Και τώρα μπορώ να προσποιηθώ ότι αυτό είναι το πρώτο που μου ήρθε στο μυαλό όταν ντυνόμουν ;)
