Sky

So the title of today's post probably looks a bit out of place and definitely quite unconnected to today's outfit. It's not like I'm wearing blue colors or other sky shades obviously. No the title actually refers to my tiny name bracelet from oNecklace.com, with the word 'Sky' written on it. I felt for the delicate and absolutely feminine design of this bracelet right away but I didn't want to simply write my name on it. The reason why I chose the word 'Sky'? Let me share a little story here. My full name is actually Urania, which in Greek means celestial or the one from the sky - so there you have it!
We shot these pictures with Dimitris while we were still in Volos (now I'm spending some time with my family in my hometown) during a morning run for coffee and a couple of errands in town. You know how I love bold combos but sometimes all you need to look elegant and stylish is a pair of jeans, a feminine top and some nice accessories. Especially during summer this kind of looks definitely become even more appropriate (who can stand a tone of stuff on with all this heat around?). Hope you guys like it!


Ο τίτλος του σημερινού post πιθανότατα δείχνει κάπως άσχετος και αρκετά ασύνδετος με το σημερινό outfit. Δεν είναι να πεις ότι φοράω μπλε χρώματα ή άλλες αποχρώσεις του ουρανού προφανώς. Όχι ο τίτλος βασικά αναφέρεται στο μικρό βραχιόλι που φοράω απ'το oNecklace.com, με τη λέξη 'Sky' γραμμένη πάνω του. Ερωτεύτηκα το ντελικάτο και απίστευτα θηλυκό του σχέδιο με την πρώτη ματιά αλλά δεν ήθελα να γράψω απλά το όνομά μου πάνω του. Ο λόγος που διάλεξα τη λέξη 'Sky'? Όπως ίσως ήδη ξέρετε το ολόκληρο όνομά μου είναι Ουρανία - ορίστε λοιπόν! (sky = ουρανός)
Βγάλαμε αυτές τις φωτογραφίες ενώ ήμασταν ακόμη στον Βόλο (τώρα περνάω λίγο καιρό με την οικογένειά μου στο χωριό μου) κατά τη διάρκεια ενός γρήγορου πρωινού καφέ πριν από κάτι δουλειές. Ξέρετε πόσο αγαπώ τους έντονους συνδυασμούς, αλλά μερικές φορές τα μόνα που χρειάζεσαι για να δείχνεις κομψή και με στυλ είναι ένα τζιν, ένα θηλυκό τοπ και μερικά όμορφα αξεσουάρ. Ειδικά το καλοκαίρι αυτά τα look γίνονται ακόμη πιο κατάλληλα (ποιος μπορεί να αντέξει ένα τόνο πράγματα πάνω του με όλη αυτή τη ζέστη;). Ελπίζω να σας αρέσει καλοί μου!
