Casual Chic

Have you told me some months ago that I would get to wear Nike sweatpants with high heeled sandals and I'd be like 'why on earth would I do that?'. In fact the whole of today's look, with the denim vest and crop top all together (even though I admit I've developed quite a big affection for the latest ones) is much more edgy and rock urban than what I usually go for. I don't even know how this whole combo came to my mind. I suspect it's because of these more than amazing sweatpants. 
During my latest shopping spree in Thessaloniki I told Dimitris (who was emotionally prepared for a long Zara session) that I actually wanted to go to the Nike store. He was like 'you do remember they have sport stuff over there right?'. So even though I just wanted to buy a pair of leggings and maybe a couple of tops for the gym, I ended up with three bags full of sporty goodies (I even got some Nike flip flops haha, which by the way are the most comfortable pair I've ever owned!) - I mean, when did sport clothes get so cute? My favorite item have to be these gorgeous sweatpants : fantastic material and shape, which I don't even know if I want to wear to the gym because I like them so much. They add the perfect casual chic touch to any look and I'm sure I'm going to wear them like crazy during the months to come. And I've just spent a whole paragraph praising a pair of sweatpants - who would have thought?


Αν μου είχες πει πριν κάποιους μήνες ότι θα φορούσα φόρμα Nike με ψηλά πέδιλα, θα απαντούσα πιθανότατα 'καλά γιατί να το κάνω αυτό;'. Για την ακρίβεια ολόκληρο το σημερινό look, με το κομμένο τζιν τζάκετ και το κοντό τοπ (αν και παραδέχομαι ότι έχω αναπτύξει μεγάλη αδυναμία στα τελευταία) είναι πολύ πιο edgy και rock urban απ'ότι φοράω συνήθως. Δεν ξέρω καν πως όλος αυτός ο συνδυασμός μού ήρθε στο μυαλό. Υποψιάζομαι ότι είναι εξαιτίας αυτής της τόσο υπέροχης φόρμας.
Την τελευταία φορά που ήμουν για ψώνια στη Θεσσαλονίκη είπα στον Δημήτρη (ο οποίος ήταν ψυχολογικά προετοιμασμένος για μια πολύωρη επίσκεψη στο Zara) ότι βασικά ήθελα να πάω στο κατάστημα της Nike. Φυσικά η απάντησή του ήταν 'θυμάσαι ότι πουλάνε αθλητικά ρούχα εκεί ε;'. Λοιπόν αν και ήθελα να πάρω μόνο ένα κολάν και ίσως κανα δυο τοπ για το γυμναστήριο, κατέληξα με τρεις σακούλες γεμάτες με αθλητικά καλούδια (πήρα μέχρι και κάτι Nike σαγιονάρες χαχα, οι οποίες παρεπιπτόντως είναι οι πιο άνετες που είχα ποτέ!) - πραγματικά πότε έγιναν τα αθλητικά ρούχα τόσο όμορφα; Το αγαπημένο μου από όλα πρέπει να είναι αυτή η υπέροχη φόρμα : τέλειο ύφασμα και γραμμή, που δεν ξέρω αν θέλω καν να το φορέσω στο γυμναστήριο τόσο που μ'αρέσει. Δίνει μια casual chic πινελιά σε κάθε look και είμαι σίγουρη ότι θα τη φορέσω σαν τρελή τους επόμενους μήνες. Και μόλις πέρασα μια παράγραφο επαινώντας μια φόρμα - ποιος να το' λεγε;
