Match made in heaven

This is what I wore on my birthday last Sunday, the goal for the day was to definitely go for something glam and sparkly (hello, if not on your birthday then when?!), but still I didn't want to look as if I was about to hit a Christmas party. This sequin skirt together with the grey masculine blazer were the perfect match for that - they are two very different pieces in terms of style yet they somehow look incredibly well together, a match made in heaven! For a hint of color I went for a very extreme make-up look (that you might have already seen on this post), quite different than my usual nudes and neutrals. I always say that I'm going to experiment more with my make-up but at the end of the day I rarely get out of my comfort zone with such bold colors. What about you, what's your 'make-up type'? And thoughts on this look?

Αυτά φόρεσα στα γενέθλιά μου την προηγούμενη Κυριακή, ο σκοπός για την ημέρα ήταν να φορέσω σίγουρα κάτι glam και αστραφτερό (γιατί αν όχι στα γενέθλιά σου τότε πότε;), αλλά φυσικά δεν ήθελα να δείχνω σαν να πήγαινα σε Χριστουγεννιάτικο πάρτυ. Αυτή η φούστα με παγέτες μαζί με το γκρι ανδρικό σακάκι ήταν ο τέλειος συνδυασμός γι'αυτό - είναι δύο πολύ διαφορετικά κομμάτια όσον αφορά το στυλ τους αλλά μαζί δημιουργούν έναν υπέροχο συνδυασμό. Για μια δόση χρώματος διάλεξα ένα πολύ extreme μακιγιάζ (το οποίο ίσως να είχατε δει σ'αυτό το post), αρκετά διαφορετικό απ'τα συνηθισμένα μου nudes και γηινά. Πάντα λέω ότι θα πειραματίζομαι περισσότερο με το μακιγιάζ μου αλλά τελικά σπάνια δοκιμάζω κάτι τελείως διαφορετικό με τόσο έντονα χρώματα. Εσάς ποιος είναι ο τύπος σας όσον αφορά το μακιγιάζ; Και η γνώμη σας για αυτό το look;
